Music to Die For - Te Auaha, August 2023

Grounded and clever improv”

Best on Tap uses truth-based play to create compelling and satisfying narratives, springing from the lyrics and tunes of our audience’s own funeral playlist picks.

This season at Te Auaha saw the format that rocked the Nelson Fringe and Auckland Improv Festivals land in Wellington for laughs, tears and monkey yoga.

“There’s always this excellent grounded quality in Best on Tap’s work which is deeply endearing: seeing real people make real human connections on stage, in a way that might be funny but isn’t goofy, with a hint of the melancholic.” ~ Wellingtonista

“I am impressed with the memorable, amusing and sometimes touching life story that has been conjured out of the six song titles.” ~ Theatreview
